Follow Through

What does it really mean to follow through on the life God has called us to? This message cuts straight to the heart of one of the most common human struggles: the gap between intention and action. Drawing from John 14, we are reminded that Jesus made an extraordinary promise to those who believe in him, that we would not only continue his works but do even greater things through the power of the Holy Spirit. That is not a distant or abstract idea. It is an active invitation extended to ordinary people, people just like us, to be living expressions of the kingdom of God in the world around us. The early disciples were described as ordinary men who had simply been with Jesus, and yet through the Spirit's power they turned the world upside down. The same Spirit lives in us. The question this message presses us to wrestle with is not whether God is willing to work through us, but whether we are willing to follow through with what he is asking of us.
